Once she spotted Drake walking over to greet her, Lex's careful planning suddenly began to scatter to the wind. She hadn't expected to run into anyone familiar that day, and while she felt glad to see him, a part of her now began to grow anxious.
What if she became too distracted and lost her quarry?
"Good afternoon," she greeted politely, taking the offered stick. "I was attempting to gather information."
It was a vague reply, but not an unusual one, she supposed. Perhaps Lex wouldn't need to explain herself much more, and if she could somehow find a way to get Drake to accompany her...
"And yourself?" Her eyes traveled from her friend to the criminal nearby, making sure he didn't attempt to lose himself in the crowds.
