Emily/Ari & Open | Mid-Evening
Emily was grateful that Ari seemed contented to speak of lighter topics than her own five year absence. And so she listened attentively to what the bard had to share, of upcoming performances and then her role in the Founders' Play. Emily's eyes widened but she was still smiling, "That's wonderful. What an opportunity! It must be nice to have the luxury of turning down work. And if you will be reprising your role, I will be sure to be in attendance." The music slowed and signaled the end of the song and Ari was telling Emily it was time to go.
"Oh, so soon?" Emily pouted, "but I should not keep you from your work. If you remember anything about me, Arielle, I love all the songs that I can dance to. I should see if I can find Cormac and perhaps I can coerce him to share a dance with me as you play. I believe hearing you play would be a gift enough. You were always so talented, and I will be contented to hear you play once more. Go, go, I am detaining you too long. We shall speak again in the near future, Arielle. Now, I shall go find my Cormac."
She reached out to take Arielle's hand into hers, giving it a light squeeze while smiling, and then went off in search of Cormac.
