Jessie nodded. He knew Liz's parents didn't approve. Although he pretty much hated packs altogether, he'd been forced to be involved in this one enough to know that. Jessie was so proud of her for doing her own thing. He said as much. "I think it's great you're following your path. Pack rules are ... dumb." Jessie stopped himself from saying a much worse word. "I don't know, though, for me. I don't even know if it's possible. I think any college would need high school transcripts, and that ... could be a problem." Jessie's high school had been an all were one, and requesting transcripts would require talking to someone there, which they wouldn't do for an abjured were. Even if he got someone else to do the talking for him, if he sent for transcripts, it would alert his old pack as to where he was. Theoretically they shouldn't care since they wanted nothing to do with him, but that wasn't a chance Jessie was willing to take. He needed to feel safe and hidden from his half-brother. "Construction isn't bad, though. I enjoy my work well enough now. Seeing a completed project can be really rewarding."
