Who: Sam Winchester and Jo Harvelle
What: Sam has missed out on a lot. Jo is filling him in.
Where: The beach near the meet-up point.
When: Shortly after arrival.
The things people were saying about Sam...weren't so good. He knew, though, that he'd made some mistakes, but the mistakes that people were claiming he made? They were things that he didn't think he'd ever make. Lucifer? Even if he had ever faced the devil, he'd never let him out. And he'd definitely never let himself become a vessel or whatever. Sighing, he made his way back to where he'd started.
Following his footsteps back to where he would meet up with Jo, he scratched his head and tried to make sense of this. Nothing was making any sense. Yeah, he knew he'd died and that was fine. Weird, but fine. Especially since he'd always been fairly certain that he'd go to heaven and not...wherever this was. Hadn't the sacrifices he'd made been enough to end him up there? Apparently not. Scratching the back of his head awkwardly, he pondered how his life had gotten to the point that they said it did.
And had Dean actually sold his soul for him?
Sure, it was very much a Dean thing to do. His brother would do anything in the world to keep Sam alive. But he had to know that Sam wouldn't want him to do that, if he had any say in the situation. You didn't, you idiot. You were dead. He hoped that Jo was ready for about a hundred-thousand questions. Because man, did he ever have them.
