Who: Gabriel and Aphrodite What:A very bad idea Coffee. Where: A nice little café in town. Rating: M Status: Incomplete, closed
This was probably the worse idea Gabriel had ever had (not counting Alaska).
He had been very strong. He was finding it easier and easier to say no to Aphrodite. Walking down the street. Drinking a beer in his balcony. Fishing with Crowley. Easy. Not a problem.
Then she messaged him. Really, when it came down to it, it wasn’t fair. What was he supposed to do? He had two choices. Never see her again or learn not to turn into a helpless puddle of goo whenever he saw her. The fact he was carrying around two weeks of arguments, tension and a desire to disappear added something close to a buffer. Sometime… close.
He didn’t wait for Aphrodite before ordering a drink made of pure sugar and, its close friend, chocolate syrup. The sort of drink that required a custom-made straw and two different kinds of spoons to eat. He then proceeded not to eat it, however he did manage to reduce it to a single texture and unappealing colour. He rested his chin on his hand and watched the cream start to separate.
