Kristen was excited to get back to Elysian after going to visit Zach. She was still fairly new in the club so she wasn't aware of everyone who was a member. It was a great way to network with people, almost like a secret sort of club. It was great and Kris was glad that she'd found her way into the club. Something had been missing, and Elysian filled that quite nicely. Dax wasn't around much, but she didn't mind it as much as she thought she would. They had an open relationship after all.

Kristen wore a sparkly micro dress that clung to her petite figure. Her equally sparkly clutch was resting on the bar in front of her and she sipped her drink quite happily. It was a fruity thing, which had been exactly what she'd asked for. The bar area wasn't very busy, but there was a good deal of white noise in the background. It was enough to make her feel comfortable even though she was by herself, though Kristen was always the sort to be comfortable no matter what.

Candice was spending some time in LA now that they were done shooting. A friend had introduced her to Elysian, but this was the first evening she’d actually gone there. She’d gone through all the material she’d received at least twice to make sure she knew halfway what she was getting herself into. Dressed in a tight, red dress and with her long hair flowing she stepped out of the cab and made her way inside the club.

A few minutes later she approached the bar, trying to take everything in as she looked around. She wasn’t sure how to approach people, but figured she’d at least just look until she got into the swing of things. Sitting down at the bar and putting her purse on the counter, she ordered a glass of white wine before she recognized the other blonde sitting next to her, Kristen Bell. “Hi..” she said with a smile, holding out her hand. “I’m Candice. And very new here,” she added with a soft giggle.

Kristen saw the other blonde approach and smiled warmly in passing as her gaze swept around the bar again. She didn't want to bother the other woman all that much, but when she introduced herself, Kris smiled and shook her hand amicably. "Kristen," she replied, introducing herself. She giggled a little as well when Candice said she was new. "I'm a little new too," she reassured her.

She took a sip of her drink before pressing any further. It was a bit silly to say that the woman looked familiar given the clientele that Elysian catered to. Instead, Kristen decided to go a different route. "Do you live in LA or are you just here for a while?" Kris lived in LA, but she spent a fair bit of time in New York as well.

Taking the glass of white wine from the bartender, she offered Kristen another smile before she took a sip. "I'm glad I'm not alone. I honestly feel a little overwhelmed by it all." She crossed one leg over the other and turned a little on her seat to get a view of what was going on around them.

"Oh, only part time. I live in Atlanta most of the year now, but I figured I'd try out LA for the spring at least and maybe the summer until I start working again. I don't know if you watch many TV shows, but I work on The Vampire Diaries." Candice didn't expect people to recognize her even if some did and in this place she certainly didn't think anyone would. "You live here in town?" she questioned.

Most people seemed really friendly and Kristen was glad that Candice was just as friendly as she expected. "I think that's a pretty common thing, so you're definitely not alone," Kris reassured her. "Elysian is fantastic at making you feel comfortable, too." Her smile never faltered, welcoming and warm toward the other woman.

"LA is really nice. It's a bit busy, but I like it better than New York, honestly. I can't stand the snow," she admitted with a smile. It wasn't all that much of a secret that she didn't like the snow. "I don't have a lot of time, but I have caught a couple episodes. You're...Caroline right?" She sounded unsure of the name, but she hoped she was right. It would have been embarrassing if she was wrong. "Yea, I do. I spend about half and half between here and New York. I'm on break for a few weeks from filming this movie, so I figured I'd spend it in LA," she explained.

"Good. I guess I just have to figure it out as I go.." Candice smiled back at the other woman, glad she hadn't ended up sitting alone. She felt a little better now that she had someone to talk to. It wasn't as easy making friends in your 20's as it had been when they were kids. You couldn't exactly go up to someone and ask if they wanted to be friends anymore. Not unless you wanted them to think you were crazy.

A smile crossed her face. "Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the snow myself. I can deal with a little on vacation and all, but not every day, every week for months.." Sipping on her wine, she nodded next. "I am. It's really fun.. So what movie are you working on?" She wanted to get into movies as well, but hadn't done that many yet. "I have to say I really loved you in You again. I just watched it again the other day and I think most girls can recognize themselves in that somehow.." she added with a soft laugh.

"There's some great resources here, and if you ever want some company trying something out, I'd be happy to help. I'm not sure what you're looking for or anything, but even if it's just a familiar face, I don't mind," Kristen offered with a smile. It was definitely a little weird trying to make friends at this age, particularly if it wasn't on the set of a movie or television show. As long as you were able to move past some of the awkwardness, Kris found it was a little easier to make some friends.

"Atlanta must be really nice then, if you're not a fan of snow. Do you guys get snow ever?" She was a little curious if there was any ever instances of snow. "Oh thanks," she replied with a smile. "It was definitely one of my favorites. Jamie Lee Curtis is hysterical. We were cracking up in between takes nearly every time." Kristen laughed just thinking about it. "I've just got one filming, but there's two in pre-production, so that's fun too. It's pretty hectic, but I love it. Plus, I've got House of Lies too. What're you up to?" Kristen didn't want to dominate the conversation too much and she genuinely wanted to get to know the other blonde.

Candice's smile grew again at the offer. "I might just take you up on that. Safety in numbers and all.." Her laugh was light. "And to be honest, I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking for myself either. I'm way too curious for my own good and pretty much up for trying out anything in life at least once. You know?" She'd always been the type to push every boundary as a kid and in a lot of ways she'd never grown out of it. Life was an adventure and it was up to everyone how much you wanted to explore new waters. She just knew that for herself she had to jump right into every single one she found.

"It is. I'm used to the south. I grew up in Texas." Sipping again, she shook her head. "Not really. I mean, I guess it happens once every blue moon or so, but I haven't seen any down there yet." She put her glass away and looked directly at Kristen again. "Wow, busy woman. I'm jealous.." she added with a grin and a wink. "I don't have anything right now. Aside from the show again later this summer. I've done a couple of auditions, but nothing yet. At least it gives me loads of time to explore this place? Speaking of.. Wanna walk around some?"

"Absolutely," Kris replied with a warm smile. "I'm the same way. I love to try anything and everything, at least once. I've figured out some stuff that I don't like already, but mostly because it just doesn't sound like something I want to do. That's only been a few things though. Usually I'm game for just about everything." It was all about having fun and she wanted to know how to have the most fun.

"No snow is definitely the way to go," she replied with a smile. "Texas is nice, too. Where in Texas did you grow up?" Kristen grinned widely when Candice said she was jealous. There wasn't a whole lot to be jealous of, but she remembered feeling the way Candice did. "You'll land something, I'm sure of it," Kris reassured. "And I'd love to!" Kris picked up her drink and slid off the bar stool. "Have you been here before? I've only come once or twice."

"Actually we only lived in Houston for a bit before moving to Orlando, but that didn't exactly mean more snow.." she added with a laugh. Smoothing out her dress a little after standing again, she smiled. "I hope you're right. Not much time to do something this summer though, but time off is always good too."

As they started to walk slowly around, she shook her head. "I'm completely new. It's my first time here, so you'll have to show me around I guess. Sine you're the experienced one and everything." They left the bar and entered another room, seeing a small crowd gathered in the corner. Curious as she was, she pulled Kris with her to see the scene. "Oh cool. That must've been awesome. Did you guys go to Disney every weekend? Or does it lose it's appeal if you live there?" Kris was actually curious about the last part because she'd always loved Disney as a kid. They must have gone to visit the parks a dozen or so times over the course of her life and she was always eager to go back, particularly when celebrating her birthday.

Kris laughed at the idea of her being the experienced one, but that didn't stop her from taking Candice's hand and walking with her through to another room. She let Candice lead them, a smile playing on her lips, when they came across a woman on display. It wasn't much of a secret that Kristen loved subbing, and whips were one of her favorite tools. Candice shook her head with a laugh. "When you're a kid, it takes a little longer before you get tired of it, but I guess you can only live in dream world for so long, you know? Then again, it's the perfect place to live when you have a celebration of some sorts.. Always somewhere to go or something to see."

She kept watching the scene for a while before she said anything, not sure if they would disturb or not. Grinning over at Kristen finally, she leaned in to whisper in her ear. "You ever done something like that?" she asked curiously. "I mean.. In public?" Kris grinned at that. "I celebrated my birthday there once. It was so great and I remember telling my mom I wanted to spend my birthday there every year." Of course, she'd found better ways of celebrating her birthday, or at least more adult ways, so she hadn't had a chance to celebrate her birthday again. "I do want to go there when Dax and I go on our honeymoon though," Kris admitted with a smile.

She was just as content to watch and more than a little turned on by the display. At Candice's question, she shook her head and stepped just a touch closer so that they could whisper and not disturb the others around them. "I've been on display before, but for a controlled group of people," she replied, her lips tickling Candice's ear just slightly. "It was...fantastic."
