The rational part of Elizabeth's brain knew this. It really did. But the rational part of her brain was rather overloaded, trying to deal with the insane hormones racing around her body at the moment, and it wasn't functioning well past the morphine, either.
But she took a deep breath, forcing herself to settle down at least a little bit. "I don't want to be stuck here alone, though." She sounded utterly miserable. To be fair, she's almost in a drugged sleep on top of those hormones. Give her another five minutes, she'll be out like a blown engine.
