"Sounds like an Elric," Edward said, reaching into his desk drawer and pulling out a small crystal. He says a word in a foreign language and the crystal expands into a viewing globe, revealing a dark elf in garb of many colors sleeping. "Donovan," Edward says, wanting to reach through the globe and poke his friend.
Fortunately, Donovan was a light sleeper. His head shoots up and he blinks blearily at the viewing globe. "Edward." Donovan moves to sit crosslegged in front of the globe and rubs his eyes, yawning. "Your timing. What's up?"
"I have a sister needing to get back to her brother," Edward says. "Think you can get here quickly?"
"Sure, got nothing better to do right now," Donovan says. "Gimme a week."
"Thanks, Donovan. We'll treat you to the Sin when you get here."
"Oooh, promises of food and drinks. You spoil me." Donovan grins. "See you in a week. Now if you'll excuse me, I need my beauty rest." The globe shrinks back down to a crystal, which Edward catches and puts away in the desk drawer. "Give him a week, Georgia."
