They didn't talk much over the next several hours. In fact, little was said when they finally bedded down for the night to rest the horse (and Van) while Envy ran off to find another horse.
The next morning, they took off again, with a fresh horse, ready to eat up more miles.
It was late afternoon before Envy landed, shifted into a horse and moved to block Van's horse into a stop. His ears twitched. "All right," he said. "This is the general area you indicated on the map."
