Ah, my darling Binky has set me off on a quest to find Glorfindel. Not any old stringy weedy elf, but a real powerful Lord of the House of the Golden Flower, Balrog Slayer, Surviver of the Halls of Mandos, glorious, golden, sexy, strong...
Anyway, you get the idea.
I didn't realize there was a Glorfindel at all in the movies. But Binky put me right and showed me a picture of an elf who was a bit of a boy. Basically a boy who Erestor, Elrond or whoever else you like to pair him with would eat for lunch. So he was a no goer.
I went back to the crowning scene in the movie where Arwen appears, and Legolas has to look happy that he's giving up the love of his life *groan*, and I found a blond elf standing next to Elrond. He had the strong features I associated in my mind with Fin, but Binky can't get beyond the hairline - ha ha, wait till she's my age. It's just a high and proud elven forehead my darling. *snigger*.
Anyway, until I can find a picture of a blond slightly more hirsute guy. I've played around with this elf in photoshop. And I shall be making icons.

The search for Fin will continue, and once I have the faces sorted in photoshop, the exceedingly fit elven bodies will follow.
