Daphne was quiet once more as she tried to think of this was what she wanted. Shrugging slightly, she leaned back in her seat. "You know, I'm not sure. I suppose, I don't care one way or the other. I would happy just to be left alone, to live a quiet life... somewhere... with someone." Glancing up at him, Daphne was realizing how pathetic her 'dreams' must sound. She didn't want fame, she didn't want glory. She didn't want notoriety, she just wanted to live the way she wants.
"I suppose a family is expected of me, and something I will probably have. I'm not really fond of children, but if they were mine, maybe I would be..." Scoffing, Daphne crossed her arms, "Bloody hell, Theodore, you're making me think about the future, now, and how pathetic my goals in life seem." Rolling her eyes, Daphne hated these conversations because she never really had a clue what she wanted to do with herself.
Daphne was quiet as he spoke about what he planned on doing. "At least you have an idea." Smirking at his agreement to marrying a pretty foreign pureblood, Daphne wanted to say something rude, but held her tongue. Was there a hint of jealous there, of course! Theodore was her friend, why should she share him with some foreign pureblood, a pretty one for that matter. "I warn you now, Theodore, no matter how foreign you go, you won't find one as pretty as me." It was hard to tell if she was being sarcastic or not.
