"Well, they certainly took all the fun out of this for you. But this is far more interesting than my usual day at work, so I suppose that's a plus." Sally took another sip of her drink while she watched the crowd.
"No, this isn't really my sort of thing, but I'm doing it as a favour to a friend. Finchy's an intern for the Ministry and for some reason they involved him in planning this thing. I guess I came to show support." She shrugged. It wasn't like Sally had any other plans for the evening.
"So." It was a bit odd to strike up a conversation with Harry Potter. The most dialogue the pair had ever had occured as random comments on the journals. But she was bored and he was harmless. Though...she wasn't sure what to discuss with the wizard who apparently saved their society from the Dark Lord.
