Percy had finally calmed himself down about Luna. Between dinner at Fleur and Bill's and their lovely little tea together. He still felt a unsure around her, which he translated into obsessing over his suit, shoes, and any number of other little details about their date.
When Luna arrived at the party before him, he almost lost all train of thought. "You, um...heh, you look...well, simply amazing," he said honestly, blushing a deep shade of red that matched his Weasley hair. He took her arm, and they walked into the ball. Once inside, he ran into many Ministry officials he needed to make small talk with, and he felt much more confident having the lovely young woman next to him on his arm. When he noticed Luna pointedly trying to ask for a drink, he excused himself to fetch her a butter beer. "Are you having a nice time? I think Justin did a wonderful job arranging the decor, don't you? The green really brings out your eyes, you know," Percy said, blushing again. This time he managed to avoid stammering, which he considered a victory.
