Alicia stared back at him. "You told me you were attached to this broom," she pointed out. "What's the point in telling me not to blow it up if you were only going to do the same thing?" she asked. "Seems downright foolish, if you ask me."
She led him out of the store and passed various stores that were all starting to close. "It wasn't too busy when I headed through before," she told him. "Just walked. My flat's only a little ways away from the Leaky Cauldron." She let her grip on his wrist slacken, though she kept her hand there without much thought.
