"Well no, not the food itself, as such, but the tenor of the evening has shifted toward utter failure on my part, and it of course my own fault for that. Well, I guess there is nothing for me to do but eat some food and hope that I don't choke on the soup," Percy said with a sign, getting up.
"I'm terribly embarrassed, and you're perfectly write, shouting was bad form, I simply panicked. Shan't happen again, I can promise you that, Fleur. I may have trouble keeping dinner conversation going though, just as a warning."
And without so much as another though, Percy brushed passed Fleur and headed to the dining room, where he stood staring at the table with a combination of hope and fear.
