Perhaps it was a testament to their relationship that his own father had somehow forgotten that his son was still residing within the wards of the Malfoy Manor, though Draco simply nodded and chose not to mention that the corridor that connected his wing of the Manor to that of his parents was free from the ghastly weather out of doors.
"Good to hear." He replied as he took the armchair near the fire that was the one he'd always sat in on such occasions. Oddly, it occurred to Draco as he sat down that he fit the chair much neater than he had when he was a small boy; though perhaps it was also simply that Draco's confidence in such a meeting was that much more matured.
Nevertheless, Draco situated himself appropriately in the armchair and let his gaze wander to the fire for a moment as his father spoke. After a brief second, Draco turned his head back towards his father and smiled politely.
"Of course, Father." He started almost sweetly, "Although I am curious as to the sense I got of urgency." He paused a moment to consider his next statement.
"Is everything alright?" He questioned coolly, keeping ahold of his own suspicion of what direction this conversation might take.
