Who: Luna Lovegood and Hannah Abbott What: Hannah invited Luna over Where: Hannah's home When: Friday night (Backdated) Rating: Low, they're both very polite girls.
As soon as she received Hannah's invite to come and have dinner, Luna busied herself getting ready. She wasn't really sure what Hannah wanted, if she was honest. Although the two had spoke at St. Mungos, and Hannah was apologetic for being with Neville, Luna still felt awkward talking about it with Hannah. She was happy for her, knowing how difficult Hannah found things, but there was still a small part of her heart that tugged whenever Hannah talked about Neville. But Luna shook her head at herself, reminding herself that Hannah needed this. She deserved it, and that it was Luna's fault for not saying something all the times she had the chance to. They had gone to the dance at the Ministry with him, after all - that would've been the perfect time, and she'd missed it.
But despite her worries, Luna was looking forward to getting out of the house. She told Fleur that she wouldn't need dinner, and apparated away to Hannah's house. She loved Shell Cottage, but despite what Fleur was always saying, she felt uncomfortable being there. She was still a guest, but she had nowhere else to go, so did it really make her a guest? Or a tenant that wasn't paying. She still hadn't gone back to her home since her father's death, and though the house was her's, she didn't want to live in it alone. All in all, she was quite lost at what to do.
As she walked into the manor, she could smell pasta cooking, and followed the smells through to the kitchen, where she saw the back of Hannah's head. "Mm, that smells lovely." She smiled to herself, walking closer to the girl. "Do you need any help?"
