Who: Percy & Fleur Weasley What: Seeking some feminine advice...awkward times abound Where: Shell Cottage When: Thursday evening Rating: low
Percy paced in front of the door to Shell Cottage, not sure quite how he had ended up there. All week he had been fretting about a problem, and he had hoped he could meet with Penelope to discuss it, but she had been so busy and with one thing leading to another...well, he needed advice from a more feminine perspective, and he didn't know where else to turn. He thought about trying to come up with a pretense to talk to Fleur, perhaps bringing up some Order business with Bill, but in the end he thought he would just be delaying the inevitable.
Truth be told, Percy wasn't very good with women, in any sense of the word. He was awkward and unsure, even with his own sister. The only woman he could relax around, besides his own mother, was Penelope. Her relationship with Oliver hadn't changed his opinion of her, but he did worry about her telling Oliver...things, and he just wasn't comfortable with that.
Mustering up his nerve, Percy ran his hand through his hair, straightened his tie, and knocked on the door. The cold air blew around him, and he shivered as he heard the click of heels that indicated Fleur was approaching the door. As she pulled it open, Percy blurted out "Can I speak with you, I'm sorry to barge in," and without waiting for a response, he rushed inside.
