Hearing someone speak behind her, Narcissa turned to see Andromeda standing there, her grandson in her arms.
She really came, Narcissa thought. I thought she might change her mind.
"Hello," she said, just as at a loss as Andromeda. Normally Narcissa was comfortable in any social situation, but this wasn't one she had experienced before. Just how did one act when meeting a person they hadn't spoken to in decades?
"Is this the right cafe?" Narcissa nodded towards the door. "I wasn't sure where you meant; I don't spend much time in Diagon Alley."
Oh, that was a brilliant thing to say. Sighing inwardly, she fixed a polite smile on her face.
