Lucius smiled at his wife's touch, "Hmm...I think sending her an owl out of the blue may seem a little peculiar. Perhaps she and Draco can come over and the three of us can talk. About what, I'm not sure - but I can't let our son marry someone without getting to know them."
Lucius shifted uncomfortably, the way he always did when the Battle of Hogwarts was mentioned. He recalled a mention of a girl willing to hand over Potter, but couldn't remember seeing Pansy's face during battle. He decided not to ask any further questions on the matter. "Well, if you like her I can't see why I wouldn't. Especially if she likes horses."
As hypocritical as it may be, Lucius couldn't help feel that Draco was getting married too soon. After all the trauma of the year before, he needed some time to recuperate not start a family. Not that Lucius had much of a say in what his son chose to do any more.
"Aside from his birds and Pansy, what else is Draco doing with himself?" Lucius asked, closing the menu and placing at the edge of the table. "I should probably find out for myself, but he seems to be keeping his distance for some reason."
