Lucius felt a pang of guilt at his wife's reaction. "Well, let's see how things go. I admit it would be nice to leave the country for a while." The idea of a far off place was actually becoming more and more welcome, especially sitting in such a fine, Italian restaurant. Lucius gazed idly at the people at the next table.
"Even if the restaurant is awful, I'm sure it will be entertaining - like that place in St Ives. Remember how appalling the waiting staff were?" Lucius laughed softly and turned back to his wife before taking another sip of his wine, "Besides, as you said - we need to get out more. To be honest, I'm getting rather restless. My attempts to get back in with the Ministry have not -" Lucius paused and smiled apologetically "I'm sorry my dear, I almost forgot our agreement not to talk of such things tonight."
Reaching for the recently placed menu, Lucius thumbed through a few pages before coming to his favourite dishes. Still reading, Lucius raised an inquisitive brow. "Tell me, how is our son? I have not spoken to him since he announced his engagement."
