Besides a child's drawing from a patient, the only gift Padma had received the day before was a bouquet of white roses that had arrived by Owl Post from Blaise Zabini. The gesture had been sweet, but Padma hadn't thought much more of it after putting them in a vase on the kitchen counter.
Padma was in the kitchen, humming along to the wireless as she finished cooking dinner. A stir-fry experiment this evening. Who knew if it would be edible, but it was worth a shot.
