"I'm not too sure, Charlie," Ginny reached up and pinched his arm, "You're getting a bit out of shape, might take you a year or so just to get into shape to train me to get into shape." Ginny really didn't want to be a Seeker, she made a better Chaser. While Seekers were the most important position on the team, Chasers got to do more. Ginny was fast on her broom, but she didn't have the patience to actually sit and wait for the snitch to show up. Ginny turned into a completely different person on the broom - highly competitive and a mindset for winning and no room for mistakes. She knew it was her destiny to become a professional quidditch player.
When Charlie turned serious, Ginny got quiet. These sort of emotional things were usually not Ginny's forte. She would rather bottle things up, or distract herself. The most recent split with Harry was a prime example of how she placed all her time, attention and energy into quidditch instead of facing her own sadness at breaking up with him. This whole sentimental family stuff with Charlie was definitely welcomed, but at the same time felt so foreign.
"Well..." Ginny said quietly, "I have to agree with Percy," Ginny paused as she lifted her head to look up at Charlie, "Did you know that Percy gave me a lecture on Wednesday about how I needed to be careful?! I think he was worried I would end up hurt... or worse." Scoffing, Ginny's gaze moved to the bandages visible from his front, "Wait till he finds out it wasn't me he had to worry about."
