Dean was grateful that Seamus played with all of the other Thomas' siblings antics, no matter how out there they seemed to be. This particular one was innocent enough though, even though he was sure if Sharlene had been at least ten years older, an over protective brother side would be shining through at that very moment. However, the young girl had been merely four, so it would be defined as cute for her age. Boy, Dean knew he would have his hands full when it came time for her to get started in the dating scene. Pausing slightly, he noticed how much a father he had been thinking, even though it was way off. He just couldn't help but be protective of his siblings, despite the fact that some of them hardly needed watching out for anymore, like the twins.
Catching the mouthing of the words, Dean simply nodded. He had already told his parents in private, however, they were over heard by the rest of the Thomas clan through the closed doors. It was a moment that he wished that he hid his extendable ears that he purchased at the Weasley's shop a few months ago, but there was nothing that could be done. Sharlene barely understood what the conversation meant, so if they talked about the subject in front of her, she would merely have thoughts that they were about Dean's stepfather through it all. "It's all good, mate. Don't worry," he replied in a timely manner. Secrets were hard to keep in the house. Sometimes, the entire family knew before him, which was honestly creepy.
Dean followed Seamus into the kitchen and picked up Sharlene the rest of the way, setting her on the table before him as he watched his best mate make himself a sandwich. Neither ever had to ask to raid the other's kitchen. Heck, Seamus never had to ask to do something in the Thomas home. That's how close they were throughout the years. It didn't surprise Dean that Lavender was now alone in her apartment, mostly because he thought the same thing. Friends were okay to live with each other, but right off the bat after dating each other? That was moving a little bit too fast, as a few thoughts circled around Morag for a few moments. He wasn't going to lie. Dean missed that girl a whole lot. "I bet your parents are happy about that. Lavender is a great girl, but yeah, it was like you were living with her. I wasn't going to say something, especially since you finally said something to her. About time," he explained with a slight nod.
As Seamus offered to make a sandwich for him, Sharlene reached her hand out and plucked up the first two slices of meat from the bread. It was only moments later that she slipped off the table in fits of laugher, nibbling on the meat as she went. Dean watched her go around the corner and disappear. "She only wanted you for the food. Pity, you to made a lovely couple," he said with a bit of laughter. "But yeah, maybe we should try in London first or is that too crowed?" Dean didn't have a clue where to start, so he was hoping that Seamus knew or they could just wing it through it all.
