WHO: Blaise Zabini and Padma Patil WHAT: Dinner WHERE: An Expensive Restaurant in Diagon Alley WHEN: BACKDATED to February 1st. RATING: TBD
Blaise had been mostly keeping to himself for the past few weeks. After the small incident with Daphne, he hadn't been up to accomplishing anything significant. In all of his years of presenting himself towards women, the act of being denied wasn't something he was familiar with. Of course, it had to be done by the perfect woman that he had wanted for so many years. He wasn't boyfriend material. That had been always true, especially since no one from the opposite sex had intrigued him enough to last more then a few simple months. Others had claimed him to be picky, but that wasn't something he was ashamed of as a whole. It wasn't something enough to feel in such a way either. The only problem he had to being denied and pushed to the side as though their years truly meant so little, or none at all, was the fact that she had chose someone who hardly was worthy of being near her. Yes, a Slytherin, but they all weren't up to par in his own opinion. In the end, Daphne would not be taken care of well enough.
However, that wasn't something he was concerned with all too much at that moment. It was easily pushed back to an insignificant thought for the current event at hand. The evening would be a pleasant one. Blaise would make sure of that small notion. Without the desire to keep Padma waiting, he arrived early in front of Madam Malkins waiting patiently. He had slipped into something comfortable, which always came from his personal tailor made suits. Even though he would less than likely achieve what he had truly desired from the Patel twin, he wasn't about to treat her any different than any other woman that he had taken an interest in. She had always been attractive, unlike her sister. Yes, he was well aware the two had been twins and even though he barely could differentiate between the two if they refrained from conversation, that wasn't enough for him to cease suggesting that they spent a bit of quality time together. It had been far too long to say the very least.
Eyes glancing into the shop's window, a few article of clothing seem to catch his interest, but not by much. Blaise had no need to step forth within the shop, so it had been quite a while since he had accomplished that. Since he had his suits and other clothing made specifically for him, there really was no need to shop elsewhere. As a few foot steps approached his location, he turned his head slightly to see whom the sound belonged to. Catching sight of Padma, a tiny smile tugged at the corner of his lips. It was a rare sign to see a different expression upon his own features, keeping a neutral look, unless there was something he desired to occur.
"That would appear lovely on your frame, my dear," he answered as he nodded in the direction of the robe. Blaise's words had been truthful, despite the fact that he wouldn't be caught in one of Madam Malkins' robe these days. It didn't take him too much longer to turn towards Padma in order to great her more proper.
