She shook her head at Marietta's suggestion that she was too involved. "I'm not too involved. I don't plan to have a target on my back, but someone needs to do something. When the Carrows took over Hogwarts that year, if Ginny, Neville and Luna hadn't kept the DA together then, there would've been even more pain and suffering than if they hadn't! I know you didn't approve then, and you were scared of what it would mean for your mum, but it's even more important now for me to do this. The Ministry isn't doing enough, they want to keep everything to the official channels, and if some of us don't quite literally fly under the radar to get things done, nothing will get done. Especially if now they're attacking Ministry staff...It could be you next, given your position." She put her head in her hands. She didn't even want to think about that.
Cho raised her eyebrow a little at Marietta's mention of obliverating her mother's memory. It sounded a little extreme to her, and she didn't believe human emotions should be dealt with using magic. "She may sleep all day, but if that's her way of coping, that's understandable. I'll stay tonight, but..." She hesitated a little, then turned in her seat to look at Marietta better. "Is obliverating her memory really going to help her? It's just going to make it even more painful for her when she knows he's gone. If someone had done that to me to make me be able to cope with Cedric dying...I never would've forgiven them." She frowned, and looked up at Marietta again. "Can't you try something non-magical? Maybe she just needs to talk to someone, a professional. Magics...too much for grief."
