She followed Marietta through to the kitchen, hugging herself, and waiting for her best friend to say something, anything. They used to be able to talk about anything, and Mari had seen her hurting like this so many times before, that she felt comfortable being that way around her. In school she'd been whispered about for how long she mourned Cedric, and she'd hated that, but Mari had let her cry to her, and been there for her, and that was why she so desperately needed her to be the same now. She stared at her until she spoke, and slid into a seat, taking the glass from her. Taking a sip, she sighed. "Thank you, I needed that." She wiped at her eyes which were now a little sore, and smiled sadly at Marietta.
"I'm just...tired of watching them do this, hurt so many people, and not pay for it. We just...sit there, and all Harry and Ron can do is tell us how bad it is, how it's getting worse, and how we're fucked because we don't know where they are, and I just want to hurt them! They fucking deserve it, they're the ones who deserve to be killed, not Michael, or Seth, or anyone good! But we're just letting them do it, and not fighting back!" Cho was always awkward bringing up the DA around Marietta, given what had happened at school, but she was frustrated, and couldn't help letting it all out. "I'm sorry, it's just...all happening again, and I thought after the last time, that was going to be it."
Thinking back to Marietta's mention of her mother, she put a hand on her arm, and looked at her. "Is your mum no better? I can stay for a few days, if you'd like, and take care of her while you work? It's no trouble at all." She didn't want to be left alone at the moment, anyway, but she didn't want to admit that out loud.
