"Lap-top? Inter-net?" Sally tested out the foreign words. "Wait, that's where your mother put the want ad for you? On little black machines?" She glanced over to the customer sitting across the cafe. "Does she know that that man is looking at it? No wonder her plan hasn't been working out," she tried her best to suppress her smirk. "That's not going to reach your target audience at all."
Sally gave some thought to Justin's comment about the update profile. "Doesn't she know that you can't just pick someone out based on what they like? Attraction is so much more complicated than that. I know people that seem perfect for each other on paper. In fact, I'm sure that's how many pur- certain marriages are arranged. But there are variables that can't be accounted for."
A barrister came over, placing two steaming cups of coffee on the table. Sally eagerly placed her hands around the cup, warming her hands. "So you haven't asked why I wanted to talk to you."
