Justin made a good point about no such thing as knowing too much. She was no Ravenclaw, but did enjoy learning as much as she could about things in order to be properly prepared. Still, she couldn't imagine what she would do with a skill like driving.
"You play the cello?" Sally asked, surprised, though at this point she probably shouldn't be. "My parents wanted me to learn the piano when I was growing up. I was convinced that I didn't take to it because I have short fingers." She displayed her small hands out in front of her (removing her hands from where they had been gripping the seat.) "The keys always seemed too far away from each other."
When Justin mentioned the exploding jar, her eyes flickered to Justin's face, searching for residual damage. For a moment, she envisioned what it must have been like for him to find the jar and the feeling he must have experienced when it exploded. She was nauseous at the fault. "I guess there does become a time when you've just had enough. Where you can't keep hiding everything you think or do." Sally had been talking about Justin's life, but the words mirrored her own. "I think I understand that."
