Waiting at his table, Miles was not entirely surprised that Tracey was running late, as she seemed the type. He'd taken many women out to eat before, but saved this particular restaurant for those who seemed more particular than others. Two stories, the top floor was reserved dining, and Miles had his usual table by the window, with a seat that had a clear view of the floo. Seeing Tracey arrive, he smiled at her, standing from his seat until she had joined him and was seated herself.
She looked beautiful, and considering he had previously been going on memory alone, he was grateful for that. "Good evening Miss Davis," he greeted her, making no mention of the fact that she was late.
He knew they had limited time before a server would be at the table, and sure enough, she approached to take their drink orders. "Wine?" he asked Tracey, and nodded at the server to list off the house favourites.
