Were she honest, Mandy would have to admit that she was more than a little apprehensive about tonight. It wasn't that she didn't like the idea of taking a break from her studies (it helped to clear one's head on occasion) it was more so that she wasn't sure if drinking loads of people she didn't know was a good idea. That wasn't really fair, she knew most of them, from the DA, but those few months were hardly the same as knowing someone for a long time, and Mandy had always been quite shy around new people. Plus, truth be told, bouncy, giggly people tended to get on her nerves. No, she wasn't exactly the sort of person who could just let go. Mandy was not overly social or all that interesting really.
Still, at least she had a plan. If things went sour, which they most certainly would, Mandy could always plan on falling back on the whole curfew idea. It wasn't entirely wrong, her mum would be expecting her back before midnight, but who knew, they didn't know it wasn't nine. Still, she was going to tell herself that tonight was about having fun, relaxing just a little bit, and maybe she could do just that?
Walking into the Three Broomsticks, Mandy paused at the door to look around. It took a few seconds to spot the group and the tables that had been set up before she decided to head in her friend's direction. "Hi." She said in greeting, smiling at Michael, Ginny and Lavender.
