"I think I'd be pretty dangerous with a spoon too," Ginny replied, smiling in amusement. If provoked, she had no doubt she'd be able to do some damage with a spoon, the blunter the better. This was nice actually, joking around with Harry. It wasn't quite as awkward as earlier conversations had been.
The urge to protest Harry's decision to end things between them rose within her again, but she suppressed it. It wouldn't change things and would just make her look desperate. Harry had made up his mind and nothing would change that...though she had a few ideas for his birthday that she was tossing around that would certainly test his conviction to stay away from her.
"It looks great," Ginny agreed, glancing around at the marquee with a softer smile now. "I haven't been to a wedding before either. I guess by the time I came along, Mum had given up trying to drag seven of us along to things like that. Besides, we're not all that close to Dad's family and Mum's brothers died in the last war..."
