"Of course there are," she agreed. "But you're obviously unaware of the problem with most of those other spots. They're pink, overdecorated and I've had quite enough of picking confetti out of my hair." That tea shop had truly been awful.
"Taking up space from what?" she asked, her expression one of contempt. "All of your friends who are crowding around waiting for this seat?" Rolling her eyes, Tracey considered the collection of drinks behind the bar and then looked back at him. "What difference would ordering a glass of water make, anyway? It's free. If you're so worried about my taking up space and not buying anything, why don't you just buy yourself another drink, then it's even."
