Tracey merely rolled her eyes. It wasn't as though she cared what Zacharias Smith thought of her, so if he wanted to go ahead and call her a liar then he was welcome. It didn't mean she wasn't going to pay him back with a few insults of her own in future, however.
"Your rough night seemed to include a lot of sorrows," she put in, not sounding as though she cared about it one way or another, just stating a fact. "It was entertaining, really." Waving away the bartender as he stood in front of her, she wasn't really apt to begin drinking this early. "One of those owls," she repeated, putting the emphasis on a particular word. "You should feel special that someone was thinking of you."
