Padma held out her arms and peered down at the stain on her shirt. "It was supposed to be a home-brew of Skele-Grow," she said as she plucked at a bit of the dried gunk, "but I think we're better off leaving it to the inventors to make."
She frowned a little as she took the stopper out of the jar of Darjeeling leaves. "Well," she said slowly, "It does make me feel better knowing they're safe there... after what's been happening."
Without looking at Parvati, she turned to set the kettle boiling. "It's a small comfort, anyway."
