Before Cho could suggest that Marietta reconsider going over there, she was already on the move, and all Cho could do was sit with her arms folded, and watch what was going on in front of her. She was a little embarrassed, though she wasn't sure if that was for the poor man, or for Marietta, as he obviously seemed a little unsure of what was going on. She sighed, slightly relieved and finished her whiskey as she came back over. "He's going to buy us some drinks? Sounds great!" She forced the enthusiasm on, as she was sceptical about whether he was coming back at all. "You know, if things don't work out here, we can go elsewhere if you want. Maybe even venture out into a Muggle club...plenty of lookers there, just not a lot of magic."
"Really, you should look into transferring to a different Department if you hate your job. I'm sure there's openings all over the Ministry, and your mum'd understand. And plus, some of the workers aren't all that bad. Better than Gilbert's assistant." She glanced around to see if he'd come back yet, but she didn't see him, and instead of saying what she thought, about how she was right, she just smiled.
