Cho smiled demurely at Marietta's enthusiasm. It was good to see her, she didn't think it wasn't, but she hadn't been around her a lot lately, so her enthusiasm threw her a little bit. She tried to listen to her problems, and her ranting, and tilted her head to the side in understanding. She smiled at her apology, and shook her head. "Mari, it's fine, you've had a bad day, I get it, you should try and find somewhere else to work if your mums being so impossible with you. I couldn't ever work with my parents, sometimes it's a relief they aren't nearby." She pulled her hair to one side of her head, and started playing with it as Marietta got the attention of the bartender instead. "I wouldn't call it exciting, really. I've only been on one call out. Some wizard was selling Kneazles to a Muggle pet shop, trying to pass them off as cats. Had to round them up, and got a couple of nasty scratches. I swear, they get you to do the worst jobs when they know you're on minimum wage." She smiled, trying to look unaffected. "But today? All paperwork. Writing up reports. Hand cramp. Ouch."
When the firewhiskeys were in front of them, Cho passed the money over for them, and smiled at the bartender in thanks. "Not too much eye candy in here tonight, is there? Couple of lookers, but not my type." Cho wasn't the kind to pick up in a pub anyway, but she wasn't sure about Marietta anymore. "Anyone catching your eye?"
