"I'll try and talk to her later," Hermione mused aloud. "Susan and Oliver, too. I feel awful about not being here; maybe I could have done something to help." It was unlikely, but it wasn't the first time she had missed something and felt as though if she had been around, things might have been different.
It was obvious that she wasn't the only one feeling that way, however, and that everyone was just as bothered by the situation and being unable to do anything useful. "I know," she said with a nod. "And I am going to work on those coins," Hermione assured him. "I mean, I have been. I know what I'm doing, I just need everyone to send theirs back so I can adjust the charm. I'll make sure and ask for them to do that once I've unpacked."
It wasn't exactly the best homecoming she had ever experienced, but Hermione just shook her head. "It's okay. I'm sorry that I didn't have my journal. I missed you."
