Blaise hadn't been in the best mood in a few weeks. It mostly had to do with the last conversation that he had with Daphne, which ended up in less than a successful conclusion for himself. However, the art of pretending that he never revealed such feelings towards the middle Greengrass sibling seemed to work. Even though he thought it was time for the two of them to sit down to merely talk things out, it felt as though she was against the idea. Throughout the years, he had been keen on keeping such a feeling a secret due to the fact that he hardly wished to hurt her in any type of way, especially since Blaise never felt as though boyfriend material was held deep within him. It was the fact that he had thought that there was a chance of losing to someone undeserving of being among her presence that brought that side out of him. Theodore. The name just brought a whirlwind of negative thoughts to mind.
If they loosely referred to one another as friends, it longer was true.
However, it wasn't a time to think about such things. Breakfast was something that Blaise had craved for almost an hour. Sleeping in on Monday had been the plan, but his body had woken him up early for once. It hadn't taken him too much longer after adorning a black suit that he realized that his mum had already ventured out for the day. Actually, he hadn't the slightest idea if she managed to make an appearance within the mansion and away from another suitor that had been worthy within her eyes. Even though he had all the right to order the house elves to make a breakfast fit for him, Blaise decided against that notion and headed out for the day as well.
Apparating to Diagon Alley and settling on dining at a small restaurant, Blaise gazed around the company that he would be around for a relatively short amount of time. None seemed to be worth his time and effort, even the workers among the place as well. Just as he allowed a shrug to roll of his shoulders, Blaise had noticed a familiar face sitting at a table on the other side of the large room near the window. "As much as I know that you have the desire to offer me a table, I do believe that I have spotted the lovely blonde that I am meeting here this morning," he replied to the maitre d' that opened his mouth to lead Blaise to a table of his very own. Of course, he had no idea that Astoria would up at such an early hour within the restaurant, but no one else had to know that small lie. Besides, he was sure that she would welcome him with open arms.
"Astoria, what a pleasant surprise. I had not expected to see you at such an hour and here of all places," he spoke with a charming smile spreading across his features. There were not many things that truly made Blaise smile, so it was a rare moment. Of course, the Greengrass sisters had always brought out a different side of himself that he normally didn't let others view. "It would be my pleasure if I was allowed to dine this morning with such a beauty."
