"You could have asked me directly, I would have said yes." She looked over at him and flicked ashes into the dirty glass ashtray. "No matter how the question was put out there I would have said yes regardless." She sipped her vodka and juice.
"Do you have one of those fancy lighters?" She teased him gently. "Those silver sort of ones with a design on it?" She blew a smoke ring, thinking that was probably not so cool, but quite fun none the less.
"I do not like being squeezed out by thirsty sort of people, or would I liked being trampled by unbridled enthusiasm." She agreed smushing out the butt end of her fag. "I think we should take our chances on the tables, and see if our winning smiles are enough to get one of course." She smiled as Kevin referenced her wide sort of smile. "Who can resist these faces, we are adorable." She pointed out. They were, at least Kevin was.
