A wide smile stretched across his face as she introduced the young boy and he glanced up at Andromeda as she described his unique ability that he’d inherited and he briefly recalled hearing how someone disowned from his family was a Metamorphmagus. An intriguing ability, Draco had always thought. Seeing it first hand in the little boy brought a curious smile to his face. “I bet that ability can come in handy.” He chimed almost playfully with the little boy. “It’s very good to meet you, Teddy.” The parentage of the little boy had slipped his attentions and Draco found he quite didn’t mind in that moment. The little boy was really quite adorable and Draco, whether he realized it or not, was playing with the tot as he made a playful funny face towards the child and laughed again.
At her suggestion to go on, Draco nodded agreement and thus pulled out some gold from his pocket and put it down on the bar. It was well enough to pay for all their drinks and Draco swallowed the last sip of tea before he reached up and refastened the dragon’s claw clasp on his robes.
“If you don’t mind, I’ve not been there before.” He said, motioning that she take the lead as he wasn’t sure how to get to the muggle café she’d mentioned.
