"I thought that's what your sister does best. Wrangles in her uncontrollable brother." Daphne ignored his question about terrifying her, because if she was going to be honest, he made her nervous. She wasn't scared, she knew that if she had the choice between Alecto or Amycus, she would rather take on Amycus. Though, as she heard that raise in his voice, Daphne knew she was quickly getting in over her head. Biting down on her tongue to stop all snarky comments from coming from her, fingers brushed over her wand once more. Merlin, she just wanted to leave this store with all her limbs.
Daphne felt like she was in the safe zone until she felt his hand latch on to her arm and a firm grasp pull her back. Instinctively, Daphne struggled to get out of his grasp. The fact that someone was touching her was bringing out her defensive side, like a lion cornered, Daphne knew it was time to fight back. Feeling herself stumble against him, just from the forceful pull, Daphne's free arm managed to smack, and slash her nails across his face. Pushing herself away from him, she pulled her wand out quickly.
"I don't bloody think so," Daphne hissed, eyes quickly darting around the store to figure out her options. At the moment she was aiming it at him, just to try and keep him at bay. She could feel her arm bruising from his grasp, and she hoped that the threat of her wand was enough to make him release her arm.
