Amycus disliked the way that others viewed him compared to Alecto. There were a difference between the two. It was obvious. He tended to follow closely behind his sister to make sure that no harm came to her in any shape or form. That was the way that it had always been between them, and frankly, he wasn't about to change that for a simple way as others saw their relationship. However, they worked as one in many ways that might not be seen by the naked eye. It was his choice to join the Death Eaters long ago without consulting any other one. If it hadn't been for that one decision, then it would be highly unlikely that Alecto would have followed the Dark Lord so willingly without him. After all, the siblings may have detested one another every other day, but they knew that they counted on each other more than they were willing to truly admit.
"And why is that? Do I terrify you, Miss Greengrass?" he asked, taking another step closer. With a tilt of his head, Amycus gave off the appearance that he had been a tiger merely stalking a prey. Eyes ever keen on the woman before him, not daring to glance away even for a second. "Maybe you should open your eyes a bit wider. There has never been a leash around my neck," he added sharply with a slight raise in his tone of voice. If there was one thing that was certain that he knew about himself, it would have to be his temper. The simplest things seemed to set his anger out of control. One would call that obvious by the unexpected actions of hiding once again. He promised Alecto the world during those times. When it came to his sister, a promise from Amycus was something he did keep. It didn't matter how long it took.
He followed her slowly with one foot step at a time. The way that his own jaw closed tightly was probably an obvious sign that anger began to rise within him with his eyebrows furred tightly knitted together as well. "Now that's not a way to speak towards your former deputy headmaster," he added quickly after her defiant actions towards him. Maybe Alecto had been a better choice to recruit the young ones. He had seemed to be going no where in a very short amount of time, unless it was time to perform drastic matters. If she had no intention of coming with him that very moment, then he would have to do so forcibly. Lunching out a hand towards her, Amycus felt her soft skin as his fingers clamped tightly around her delicate arm. With a sudden jerk towards him, he attempted to pull her close with a plan to drag her out the door with a hand tightly covering her mouth. Once out there, the next step would be to apparate to the secret home that he shared with Alecto. It all ran so easily through his mind. "You're coming with me, right now."
No matter how his actions were at that moment, Amycus had no intention of hurting her, especially since he desired a star pupil to call his very own.
