That growl made Daphne nervous, and she took another step back making sure to keep her gaze trained on him. If he was going to make any sudden movements Daphne wanted to make sure she saw them all. She didn't trust the Carrows, something about them screamed simpering followers. They were willing to kill and maim in the name of the Dark Lord and in her mind that was viewed as weak willed. The Death Eaters now were a little different, though, without a Dark Lord to follow, they were instead upholding his beliefs - beliefs that the Greengrass' followed. Beliefs that Daphne followed. The only thing that kept Daphne from joining the Death Eaters was her family and their beliefs.
Feeling her back press against a shelf, her elbow graze a series of books, knocking them from the ledge and sending them clattering to the ground. "Well, they ought to. Doesn't you sister keep you on a short leash these days?" A finely sculpted brow arched as Daphne stole a quick glance at the doorway to the back room once more.
Her jaw clenched as she began to ponder what she should do. She could apparate away, but considering the wards on the store, she would have to figure out a way to get out the door. She was positive her father would be understanding of why she returned back home without the package he wanted her to get.
"I think that's none of your business." Daphne replied defiantly, as she took a side step to move around him and towards the counter. Those predatory looks were making her uncomfortable, and at this point all she wanted was to get away from him.
