Though she had been going to bed rather early the past week; usually with not much choice since no one would let her out of it, there was really no way that Hermione was going to sleep before Ron got home. Nor was she going to miss anything that might have been happening. Both her chess piece and her map were sitting right by her on the coffee table in the living room, and though the television was on, she had only been watching one of them.
As Ron apparated in, she noted his location change before she glanced up at him. "Of course I'm still awake," she mentioned, as if she would be anything else. "And I'm very glad to hear that," she told him when he spoke of it being a very boring night, though she had ascertained as much for herself. Nothing had really changed on the map the entire time, apart from his and Harry's location. Which suited her just fine.
