He laughed lightly and rolled his eyes. "Surely, you, know by now that most of it is just a show, darling. Gossip makes the papers, the papers spill our secrets to the readers and they pay money to see our games." He despised the publicity part of Quidditch, he just wanted to fly.
"Miss Davis, going to die a spinster." he teased as he sipped his wine. "High standards or are you waiting for your knight in shining armour to ride in and rescue you?" He admitted he couldn't think of any wizards that he would think were good enough for her to date.
"I was joking, I am bored, not idiotic." He wrinkled his nose, then perked up. "I had forgotten I brought you a gift." he said idly as he reached into his jacket pocket and pretended to search for the gift.
