Justin, looked at her glass of wine and decided to order one for himself. “Stay there. I’m just going to get a drink.” He walked over to the bar and ordered a glass of pinot noir, he also set a future order for two more glasses, for himself and Sally.
He walked back over, glad to see that Sally hadn’t walked away and sat down on the stool next to her own. His shoulder bumped with hers, but he supposed the stools had been positioned like that; close together, so the audience could see the small stage.
“Did you enjoy the soup, I dropped off early this morning.” He took a sip from his wine. He hoped she liked pumpkin. His step father grew a lot of squash and by a lot, well - he could probably supply a small town all year round. Justin, despite the fact he hated his step father, liked squash - pumpkin soup, was definitely a favorite of his, and from how things had gone so far, he probably lucked out on it being a favourite of Sally’s too.
