"I'm feeling a little better," she insisted. "I think being home helps." She was more relaxed at least, and slept more soundly with Ron next to her. Though she was sure some of it could be contributed to the potions she had to keep taking, having him there beside her made a difference.
When he told her he hadn't been able to take his eyes off her, she smiled. "Because I looked like a train wreck?" she teased. Hermione wasn't sure on her appearance now; she hadn't had the chance to look in the mirror since that first time, but she was hoping that it had improved.
Watching Ron as he collected up her books and set them beside her, she was going to leave them until a little later. Her journal had been enough for the moment. Unsure what else there could be though, she raised her eyebrows slightly when he mentioned as much.
