Hermione closed her journal and placed both it and her quill onto the bedside table as Ron walked into their bedroom. It looked as though he hadn't seen Theodore Nott's contribution to her journal entry and she was glad for that. The Slytherin hadn't told her anything new, just reaffirmed her belief that she was responsible for Michael Corner being in Flourish & Blotts and she wasn't the only one that thought so.
As much as she knew he was just trying to help, she didn't want to hear that she couldn't have known or that it wasn't her fault; two things that Ron had already told her. It was what it was. But both Penny and Ginny were feeling better, and so was she. So Hermione supposed she should still be thankful for the small things.
Including Ron, though that wasn't anything small. She was eternally grateful for what he was doing for her now. Staying with her when she wanted him to, giving her space when she needed it and taking time off work so she didn't have to stay in St Mungo's.
"I'm good," she answered when he spoke up. Offering him a small smile, she gestured to the other side of the bed. "Come on, I didn't banish you completely."
