“See. Glad we agree.” He knelt down and handed her a brush, as he dipped his own in the paint, walked over and started on the wall in front of them. He had his glass of wine, beside him on the end table; he had covered up with plastic before, so it was in his reach. He could sense Megan, coming up behind him and was glad he had put some plastic on the floor as well, because her brush was dripping like his own. He put down his brush, lying it over the can lid and picked up his glass of wine as he watched Megan paint. “No, you have to have longer brushes, the short ones just make it look scrappy.” He walked over and with his hand that wasn’t holding the glass, wrapped it around her wrist and showed her the movement her hand should have had. “Much better.” He stepped back and picked up his brush again, as he began to paint in sync with Megan.
He hummed slightly to himself, music could definitely help right now, but he wasn’t even sure where he had placed the remote. Accio, crossed his mind - but, Justin rarely used magic, if ever in his apartment. He took another sip and closed his eyes, it was good to forget for a moment a war was brewing on the other side of the wall they were painting. It was good to just forget about all things in general. He hummed a little loudly, and moved his shoulders to the side. It was easy to joke around when Megan was the only one in the room.
